The primary purpose of the Journal of Vocationology is to disseminate scientific research and related information deemed relevant to the field of Vocationology (See definition in The Vocationologist, Vol 1(1) and related disciplines including: Psychology, Student Personnel Services, Career Development, Rehabilitation Economics, Rehabilitation Counseling, Job Analysis, Trait-Factor Theory, Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment. From time to time, research and informational articles may be invited or solicited from recognized experts in Vocationology and related fields. Note: As of Winter, 1997, The Journal of Vocationology (JOV) title was expanded to become the Journal of Forensic Vocationology (JOFV). The title change has remained in effect through all subsequent issues, to date and continuing.
