Use the McCroskey Dictionary of Occupational Titles (McDOT) program to identify each position (using the most reasonable job approximation approach) in an individual's past relevant work history, along with the latest most updated job description, to identify and confirm essential and marginal work tasks and extract the typical worker trait factor requirements/job demands profile for each relevant job. Profiled traits, Vocational Quotients and related job crosswalks of primary interest for vocational and rehabilitation economic analysis include:

Use the McCroskey TestPlot (McPlot) Program to translate, analyze and synthesize available relevant Aptitude, Achievement and Ability Test Percentile Scores, School Class Grade Percentile Score Equivalents, Work Sample Percentile Score Equivalents, and MVQS Physical Capacities/Environmental Tolerance Inventory Rating Scale results into an individualized, four-factor, twenty-four trait (nearest tenth of a decimal point) McPlot Evaluative Data Profile of Current Vocational Functioning.

Use the McCroskey Transferable Skills Program (MTSP) to input work history and finalize the McPlot Evaluative Data Profile into an integer level MTSP Evaluative Data Profile. Clinically adjust and finalize the whole number Pre/Post Profiles of vocational functioning. Run MTSP to determine Pre/Post Job Matches, Employability, Labor Market Access, Utilization, Availability and Transferable Skills Indices and Earning Capacity Ranges in the relevant labor market(s) of interest. Review the list of job matches to clinically determine if reasonably suitable job matches and earning capacity exist in the relevant labor market of interest based on the client's Pre/Post Profiles compared against job demand profiles of jobs listed in the most relevant MTSP Job Bank available (See below MTSP Job Banks; See also, the latest edition of the ECLRBOOK, which accompanied the 7/18/96 MTSP update, for corresponding Job Bank ECLRs):

  1. The ALLJOBS Job Bank (with all 12,741 Jobs in the 1991 4th Ed. Revised DOT),
  2. The NAT Job Bank (US National Frequently-Hired-For Jobs),
  3. The SSA Job Bank (Social Security Administration's 1600 Lt/Sed Unskilled Jobs),
  4. The SSA1 Job Bank (SSA 2500 Lt/Sed/Med Unskilled Jobs),
  5. The OOH Job Bank containing 2345 jobs in the top 330 occupations listed in the Occupational Outlook Handbook as covering 91% of all American Workers' Jobs,
  6. Any of the 50 US State Job Banks (AK, AL, . . . WI) and Puerto Rico (PR),
  7. Any of the hundreds of US County Area Job Banks covering county or borough areas located within the following states: AK, IA, ID, IN, MI, MN, ND, NE, SD, WA and WI,
  8. The CAN (Canadian National Job Bank), and/or
  9. Any of the 12 Canadian Province Job Banks (ALB, BRC, . . . YKN).
Use the MTSP Job Profile Report output to identify Primary 4-digit SIC Code groups of interest from the list of Job-Person Matches. And, if you have a Select Phone Deluxe (Pro CD, 1997 ) or a similar business listings software program available (must be purchased separately) which incorporates SIC Coded Yellow Page Heading Business Listings, use the selected 4-digit SIC Codes groups of interest from the MTSP Job Profile Report list of job matches to crosswalk to a reasonable list of names, addresses and phone numbers of potential employers assigned the same or similar 4-6 digit Primary SIC Code groups, located within reasonable distance of the most relevant Geo.-Target of interest within the relevant labor market area of interest.
